Meet Franko Roberts, a highly experienced Executive Manager with dual master’s degrees in business administration and human Resource Management. With over 20 years of professional experience in risk management, human resources, community relations, environmental, health, and safety, Franko brings valuable insights to clients in surface and underground mining. His processing expertise spans gold, nickel, limestone, cement kilns, heap leach, and dredge concentrating.

Franko’s diverse project portfolio includes grass-roots exploration, greenfield and brownfield projects, and alternative fuels and resources. As a lead risk facilitator, he is well-versed in risk analysis, error causation, root cause mapping, and human risk engineering. Franko’s international experience extends to Singapore, Norway, Brazil, and Papua New Guinea. New Zealand and Australia.

With extensive experience in leading high-performance safety and training teams, managing complex projects, conducting high-level ICAM investigations, analysing and interpreting data, reporting, monitoring, and conducting internal audits, Shannon is well-equipped to handle diverse HSE challenges. Additionally, Shannon is an expert in developing and implementing Learning Management Systems and eLearning packages that utilise adult learning principles.

Throughout his career, Shannon has held significant positions at Milaha, GBF Underground Mining Company, and various mining and logistics organisations. His experience spans from establishing training strategies and processes for HSSEQ and high-risk tradecraft to developing and implementing HSET management plans for green and brownfield projects.
